Driver not supported on Windows 8 [imported] #1040
Comments
This needs to be noted on the main website. |
what work around is effective to install drivers in windows 8? there seems to be insistence for digital signature. |
A signed driver is available: http://downloads.arduino.cc/arduino_drivers_win_signed_test1.zip this is a all-in-one driver for all boards that is going to replace the old ones: please test it on EVERY windows box you own (also XP, Vista, 7 etc.), and report back if it is working. C |
Merged upstream, the new drivers will be available from the next release (1.0.4 and 1.5.2) C |
