INEPT EPUB Decrypter #183
Comments
That's probably built from an old version of the script that's in the DeDRM tools. |
Yes, but it looks like I just can't use the newer script with the v2.6 of
Python I am using or without adding PC Crypto and upgrading my Python, which
I was trying to avoid.
I couldn't get Calibre v2.xx to install but did manage to get 1.48 to
install - I was previously using 0.9.20. After a bit of fiddling, I was
able to get the Calibre plug-in to work, so I am covered for now but will
eventually try and get the rest of the DeDRM tools working. It is difficult
because I run Vista and even though programs like Callibre v2.xx are
supposed to work on Vista, they don't always do so. Because of this I don't
like to play with installing programs or upgrading once I get everything
working. Once I get things working well on a computer I just want to use it
and not constantly fiddle with it. Case in poing I was doing just fine with
Calibre 0.9.20 and Inept Epub on Python 2.6 from 2010? until just recently
until Adobe did something with ADEP and all of a sudden I ran into problems
that led me to my current exploits.
Thank your for your interest.

I have been using INEPT EPUB Decrypter v5.2 for quite a while now to decrypt ADEP for conversion to MOBI by Calibre. However, lately I have been getting an error "Error File name in directory "OOI0+x0"/" when decrypting. Does anyone have an idea why this is just happening now? And whether DeDRM plugin for Calibre would have this problem also?
I run Vista and don't want to switch if I can stay with INEPT as sometimes Vista can get wonky with new software. I realize this isn't exactly an appropriate venue for this inquiry, but I was hoping with the past possible involvement of developers here on this board with INEPT someone could point me in the right direction.
Thanks
