At Iceberg we're looking into consolidating the versions, see apache/iceberg#2084. The latest Spark release is still on 2.10, and I wanted to bump everything to at least 2.11. |

I think that it is fine with Spark. The next version of Spark (3.1) will use Jackson 2.10 since it is in the middle of the release process. The future version of Spark (3.2) will use Jackson 2.12 as https://github.com/apache/spark/blob/master/pom.xml#L173. |
