With the core functionality of vite-node having been ported to the official Vitest Environment Module Runner,
vite-nodehas served its mission and should gradually fade away.As vitest-dev/vitest#8208, Vitest no longer deps on
vite-node. So the team has decided to movevite-nodeback to this repo to keep the maintanace effort separate.vite-nodewould be kept maintained for a while to support the existing ecosystem and the cli.For new projects, it's recommended to use the official Vite API.
