Actually, the bottleneck is the network throughput. So, Ant Media Server is always aware of the network speed, the end-user has on his side. Regardless of the resolution in the Adaptive settings, a bitrate selection is made either upward or downward, depending on the bit rate information and the instantaneous network speed.
