Bumping the major version of Conan is a big change that the project is not yet ready for. Since the pyyaml issue has affected so many people, I am optimistic that a fix will appear soon and I'd prefer to wait for that. See e.g. yaml/pyyaml#728 and yaml/pyyaml#731. |
