Gematria

This package is a command line utility (CLI) that is written in Go that provides you with a powerful interactive menu interface to work with the https://github.com/andreimerlescu/gematria package.

What Is Gematria?

If you think of the alphabet as an array of characters or bytes, the index position of the character is kind of like what Gematria is.

If A=1 P=16 L=12 E=5, the word APPLE would be 1 16 16 12 5. And when you express this as Simple Gematria, you refer to the sum of the character's positional indexes, so APPLE=50.

The phrase AMERICA=50 as well. GivenA=1 M=13 E=5 R=18 I=9 C=3 A=1, you can see 1 13 5 18 9 3 1 = 50, therefore in Simple Gematria, APPLE == AMERICA through this numerological system.

Installation

You can begin using the GEMATRIA utility on your system by installing this Go package.

go install github.com/andreimerlescu/cli-gematria@latest

Then you can begin using the program by running:
