@jayvdb, just fyi, I am going to merge this but I do not intend that to effect releasing the macOS stuff. There's too much change here to add Qt 6 under the existing qt-applications 2.1 release in the way that I was doing with macOS over in #14. So probably either macOS makes it out first in a new version with Qt 6, or if Qt 6 ends up creating some other hold up then the macOS only additions can go up as originally planned. So, this shouldn't induce any extra hold up on macOS getting out. Just that file size issue...
