Motivation
The new base fee denominator introduced at Optimism Canyon has not been exported to alloy from reth https://github.com/paradigmxyz/reth/blob/e95c6dba9d6b2cb4a729bdf3f1f02f4577e9e0a2/crates/primitives-traits/src/constants/mod.rs#L69-L71
Reth requires it in the
OP_MAINNETspec, but according to this comment, OP_* consts may be removed from reth with the next alloy release. Hence it’d be better to export the Canyon base fee to this repository.Solution
