aiohttp support is already implemented and used in production. Unfortunately, the support is incomplete.

At least the following features need to be implemented:

posting files
input headers

Some tests are commented with @pytest.mark.skip("TODO - 2025-01-10 - aiohttp is missing so hapic features like async decorators ... see #221")
