Still worth it: yes. On main, the open-chat welcome is still <h2>Alexander's digital twin</h2>. Changing it to "AI twin" lowers the twin's weight as a product next to hire, and makes the twin-is-an-AI lock more explicit. The paragraph under it ("I'm an AI with his context. I can get things wrong.") is unchanged. Live, the AI cue, chips, aurora and the dock aren't touched, and chat stays at the bottom.

Why FAIL: the new test asserts expect(chat).toContain('class="welcome-message"'), but the markup is class="message assistant-message welcome-message". I ran it locally on the tip and it fails: "expected … to contain 'class="welcome-message"'". Fix it with expect(chat).toMatch(/class="[^"]*\bwelcome-message\b/). The rest of the test is fine.

Note: /this-site/ and the twin system prompt still say "digital twin". That's fine, since that page is the twin explainer and #1016 scopes only the open-chat h2.

Branched from Sept-4 main and CONFLICTING with 7df528c. GitHub CI hasn't run on it, so I ran the PR's own test locally on the tip. There's no current preview, so this is judged from the diff against today's main. Draft state unchanged, not closed or merged. Overlay 69ca717 untouched, hire is LinkedIn only (no mailto/CV), and #800 / Lidköping aren't touched.

Still worth it: yes. On main, the open-chat welcome is still <h2>Alexander's digital twin</h2> (Chat.astro:66). "AI twin" makes it explicit that the twin is an AI, and gives it less weight next to hire. The paragraph is unchanged.

• Diff: Chat.astro ±1 (h2 text) + 9-line test.
• Locks:

  • Title and hero subtitle hold, mailto 0.

Why FAIL: the tip's new test fails locally (1 failed / 123 passed). It asserts toContain('class="welcome-message"'), but the markup is class="message assistant-message welcome-message". Fix: toMatch(/class="[^"]*\bwelcome-message\b/).

Applied onto main, the src change alone passes the full suite (395/395), and prettier is clean. Conflicts: only identity.test.ts. The intent survives.

Prior records on GitHub: Johan Dual OWN PASS on this same tip on 2026-09-04. No Vera record and no reviews, so there was no Dual CLOSE until now. Johan re-OWNed it today.

CONFLICTING with main 7df528c (branched from Sept main). GitHub CI hasn't run on this tip. I ran the tip's identity.test.ts locally (vitest), and separately applied the src diff onto today's main and ran main's tests. Draft state unchanged. A tip-match is needed after the refresh.

Owner review on tip 84d27e5 (merge-in of main onto 1e3a351): PASS. The diff is unchanged from the reviewed tip. The open-chat welcome h2 now reads "AI twin" instead of "Alexander's digital twin", so it stops competing with the hire path. The body copy still says it's an AI with his context, the chat-live-label is intact, and there's a regression test in identity.test.ts. This tip fixes the one thing I failed on 1e3a3514. The test now matches the welcome section with /class="[^"]*\bwelcome-message\b/, which hits the real markup class="message assistant-message welcome-message". I checked all four assertions against Chat.astro at this tip and they pass.

The visitor change is the same as before: the open-chat heading reads "AI twin" instead of "Alexander's digital twin", and the paragraph under it is unchanged. The merge from main adds nothing visitor-facing to this diff. Chat stays docked at the bottom, LinkedIn is still the only hire path (no mailto), and nothing touches the overlay frost or #800.

CI was still running when I checked, so hold the squash until it's green and Vera tip-matches. I didn't draft or merge anything.
