Saw the update for the integration 30 minutes ago. Installed it and evaluated my issues. Happy to report that all is well. Zigbee devices paired to an Echo Plus are now responding to commands issued by HA multiple times and there are no more notifications popping into the lower left of the screen Thank you for the quick and thorough resolution.
