Overview:
Tried to clean up as many dead links as possible. It's a little tricky because of the symlinks -- relative paths that work in the target file don't work if you try to follow them from the symlink path.
Made some judgement calls about destinations that no longer exist.
Also doesn't clean up dead links from
./docs/API/nixl_connectthat point to the multimodal example since that example might be coming back
