Afssync is a tool that syncs an AFS volume with a directory on your local disk.

Requirements:

Python 2.6 or newer, but not Python 3
Heimdal 1.5.2 or newer


Installation instructions:

Edit the Makefile:
     * Comment/uncomment appropriate OS_CFLAGS and OS_LINKFLAGS. Edit if necessary for your OS and python installation.
     * Set the CC variable to the name of your compiler
     * Set the HEIMDAL variable to the base of your Heimdal installation

Run "make".


To prepare a local directory as a synced directory:

./create.sh <local directory> <afs cell> <afs volume>


The sync program is run like this:

./sync.py <local directory>
