Merges pingdotgg/t3code v0.1.3 (518 upstream commits since v0.1.2) to bring in the SQLite and server performance fixes the Ubuntu server needs. The live statev2.sqlite is 29 GB and the server main thread is saturated.

Upstream fixes this brings in

Merge

89 files conflicted. Each area keeps upstream's structure with the fork features re-applied:

  • Work sidebar and chat dock
  • Firstmate and agents
  • scheduled tasks; the delivery mode is now also passed on MCP updates
  • secrets: thread-bound reusable refs plus upstream's file delivery; file delivery with multiple fields is rejected
  • the mobile Work tab on upstream's new tab system
  • T3 Work desktop identity

Fork code was adapted to upstream API moves: source-control client helpers, the guest-request status, and the stricter Effect diagnostics.

Verification (Ubuntu, Node 26.12.1)

  • Typecheck: every package passes, including server, web, mobile, desktop, contracts and evals.
  • Tests:
    • contracts, shared, client-runtime, effect-codex-app-server, source-control-github, provider-core: all pass.
    • Web unit: everything passes except reactCompilerCoverage for LegacySidebar, workStateSync and AgentAvatarUpload, which fails identically on main.
    • Server focused suites (orchestration-v2, secrets, scheduledTasks, mcp, firstmate, provider, cli, persistence, ws, storageCleanup): 3,247 pass, 5 fail. These are follow-ups:
      • FirstmateReactor: 2 monitor-work completion deferrals
      • core.test: schedule_task rewrite above the caller's modes
      • ClaudeAdapterV2: read-only allowlist vs toolkit annotations
      • runtimeLayer: wakes for checks after the no-checks notice

Released right away because the server is degraded. The follow-ups go in the next fork release.

Takes pingdotgg/t3code stable v0.1.3 (518 upstream commits since v0.1.2),
including the SQLite and server performance fixes the Ubuntu server needs:
turn-item snapshot compaction (pingdotgg#20990), paced compaction off the writer
(pingdotgg#20877), reads routed around writer contention (pingdotgg#23902), faster shell
snapshots on large databases (pingdotgg#23751), coalesced streaming text (pingdotgg#24267),
lighter thread opens (pingdotgg#24899) and cold connects (pingdotgg#24723), and released PR
sync sweep data (pingdotgg#25285).

Conflicts in 89 files were resolved keeping upstream structure with fork
features re-applied: Work sidebar and chat dock, Firstmate and agents,
scheduled tasks (delivery mode now passed on MCP updates too), secrets
(thread-bound reusable refs plus upstream file delivery; file delivery with
multiple fields is rejected), the mobile Work tab on upstream's new tab
system, and T3 Work desktop identity.
