The floating quick message composer inherits the app theme, whose contrast can be awkward over other apps. Appearance settings now offer the compact configuration from option A: follow the app, adapt its palette with extra contrast, or choose an independent theme.
Adapted and independent themes support a separate light/dark/system appearance, respect single-mode palettes, and include a preview over light or dark backgrounds. The floating window applies the palette to its full document, including menus, without changing the main window's theme or Electron's shared native theme. Preferences use the existing client settings flow; removed themes fall back to the app palette. Settings search, restore defaults, and user/fork documentation are included.
