I also have the same issue. Very very newbie to coding and I was trying to copy content from Atom over to my notes file (Google Chrome) with examples of snippets. Syntax coloring would make it so much easier to view.
Could someone help me override the Ctrl+C shortcut with this package Alt+a+1 instead? What would I need to enter in the keymap file to make it work?

As much as i would love to use this feature in atom, in the meantime u can use visual studio 2017, and in the extensions manager you can download an online extension called 'copy as html' restart visual studio and now the edit menu will have copy as html in it. You can edit how the tool works through tools>options>visual studio power tools.

I've tried pressing alt+a followed by 1, all it does is change which tab im viewing. I tried pressing all 3 together with the same result.
