Date previous/next navigation and the history widget don't work together

Choosing a past date from the history widget no longer shows the correct records. Instead, it seems to default to that day but in the current year (as opposed to the actual year). For example, click the arrow next to "Dec 21, 2022" and you are taken to "Dec 21, 2023".

Using search suggestions you can navigate to the correct date, but the primary date selector/view in the sidebar still shows the incorrect year.
