I tried to add "microwave receiver" in electicity generation entity, but there is not

pY tells us that the Microwave Receiver generates 0MW, so we don't list it.

Is there a reasonable non-zero default?

How about 4.8MW(from 1 mw satelite) or 72MW(1 receiver can generate at most)?

@SWeini Is it better to fix this in pY's yafc.lua, or in one of Yafc's mod-fixes files?

I always prefer yafc.lua in py itself, because the mod-fixes files are hell to maintain when there are changes in the mods (they have to work with every mod version available)

I looked into this:
right now the microwave receiver is an electric-energy-interface. I think it's quite easy to change them to solar-panel in yafc.lua, so that they work similar to e.g. tidal plants.

However, solar in YAFC didn't really catch up with all the modding capabilities that were added over time. It's all based on a fixed day/night cycle, see FactorioDataDeserializer_Entity.cs and the assumption that all solar panels run 100% on day and 0% on night, which is broken by py in many ways (tidal, antisolar)

By the way, the solar/accumulator ratio (21:25 in vanilla) that is still widely used (and what YAFC uses) is based on the old time of a day (25000 ticks), when in fact it has changed (to 25200 ticks) slightly.

Scratch my previous comment, YAFC actually supports electric-energy-interface quite well (if they have energy_production set).

What I'd do is set the energy_production to 72MW in py's yafc.lua, and (bigger picture, not part of this issue) also change tidal powerplants to be electric-energy-interface for better values

This is #228. I was thinking about it recently but didn't get anywhere useful. I'd like to see heat and steam batteries acknowledged, but even getting the right number of batteries for fish turbines would be an improvement.

That particular part of the code is just calculating the average production of a solar panel, which is 70% of peak production regardless of the day length. But yes, we are underestimating the number of accumulators required on Nauvis by 0.8%. Or more, if the user selects modded accumulators with unusually low current relative to their energy capacity.
