This project is assigned by Dr. Shanmugam Poonkuntran, Dean SCSE, VIT Bhopal and developed by 3rd year CSE students Aarav Rajput, Anand Lahoti, Utkarsh Parashar, Jatin Jindal, Vaasu Bisht, and Vansh Dugar. The integrator serves as a front-end for hostel attendance, utilizing biometric turnstile data and integrating it with VTOP, the student-staff portal for VIT Bhopal.
The VIT Bhopal Hostel Attendance Integrator streamlines the attendance management process by effectively combining biometric turnstile data with the university's student-staff portal. The system is designed to handle large volumes of data efficiently, providing real-time attendance Uploads and ensuring accurate records. This project also undertakes the concepts of data analysis and processing in order to ease up human-oriented tasks.
The project is primarily developed using PHP and CSS, offering a user-friendly and responsive interface. The backend data processing is powered by a custom-written, highly efficient MySQL-based data processor. This ensures smooth and reliable data management, even during peak usage.
The integrator requires three specific files to function properly:

Student Leave Records (student ID) - A file containing student IDs and corresponding leave records.

Turnstile Entries (Name, student ID) - This file includes the names and student IDs of individuals recorded through the biometric turnstile.
