Minimum Viable

Minimal systems are motion, and basic vision.

Key systems that need to be designed for this are:

  • Computer systems power regulation and distribution.
  • Communications
    • Long range (WiFi)
    • Internal (CAN + ethernet)
  • Drive systems power distribution
  • Drive motor controllers (w/o feedback)
  • Kill switch/safety systems

Autonomy

  • Drive motor feedback control
  • GPS
  • Cameras
    • pan/tilt/whatever control

CIRC

  • Arm motor control drivers
  • CIRC science payload
  • Dosimeter interface complete (details TBA)

URC

  • Arm motor control drivers
  • LED indication of rover status
  • URC science payload
