  • This theme, called "TriliumNext" will now become default for all new users and it aims at modernizing the UI/UX of Trilium Notes.
  • The theme is provided as a single option, with light/dark switching being made on the user preference.
  • The theme starts from the original theme and will evolve with time.
  • The existing light and dark themes are kept.

This is exciting! Are there any screenshots of what this looks like?

@ups7 , it's secret. 😈
Feel free to download the beta if you have the time. You could easily downgrade if you have any stability issues, since the database or sync versions are not changed.

If not, you can find some screenshots with Mica enabled on Windows here: #717
Of course it won't look as nicely on non-Windows, but it's still an improvement to the original theme in our opinion.

Let me know your thoughts.

I finally tried it out, and love it. It looks great on both Windows and Linux. Even though the changes seem subtle, moving the launcher bar to the top with the new theme makes it look so much more modern and slick!

It will be great if in future you can also introduce an option to choose an accent colour, to add a bit of colour to the default theme!
