You can set up Evolution’s calendar module to display Tracks actions as appointments. The instructions below were tested with Evolution 2.26.1.
- Copy the URL for the iCal feed you want Evolution to subscribe to to the clipboard
- In the “Calendar” view, choose “File > New > Calendar”
- Set the “Type” combo box to “On the web”
- Paste the URL into the “URL” text box, and type a name (i.e. “Tracks”) into the “Name” one. Set the other options as desired
You now have a read-only Tracks calendar you can toggle on the sidebar, and all Tracks actions with due dates are displayed in your calendar view. Since evolution-data-server is now tracking it, any other GNOME application that uses it (such as the clock applet, or Pimlico’s “Dates”) is “Tracks-aware” as well.
