From now on I decided to use copies of the launcher file instead of links to the launcher files. With this new setup there are no more permission issues and no more need to ask for sudo password.

New Features:

  • Compatible with GNOME 3.28 or later
  • Automatically positioning Add to Desktop button below Add to Favorites
