Installation

Firefox

1. Visit the NoteMarker Firefox Add-on page
2. Click "Add to Firefox" to install directly from the Mozilla Add-ons store.

For the latest development version:

1. Go to the Releases page
2. Download the latest v2.0.6-firefox release
3. In Firefox, navigate to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox
4. Click "Load Temporary Add-on" and select the downloaded file

Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, and other Chromium-based browsers

1. Visit the Releases page.
2. Download the latest release (v2.0.3).
3. Unzip the downloaded file.
4. In your browser, go to the extensions page:
   • Chrome: chrome://extensions
   • Edge: edge://extensions
   • Brave: brave://extensions
   • Opera: opera://extensions
5. Enable "Developer mode" (usually a toggle in the top right).
6. Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped extension folder.

Usage

1. Highlighting Text:

   • Select the text you want to highlight
   • Right-click and choose your desired highlight color from the NoteMarker menu

2. Creating Notes:

   • Click on "Note" from the NoteMarker menu
   • Type your note and drag it to your preferred position

3. Managing Highlights and Notes:

   • Click the NoteMarker icon in your browser toolbar
   • Use the dashboard to view, edit, or delete your highlights and notes

4. Clearing All Marks:

   • Click the NoteMarker icon in your browser toolbar
   • Select "Clear All" to remove all highlights and notes from the current page
