If you plan to join our IRC channel for support, please keep the following tips in mind:
- Before you ask, give How To Ask Questions The Smart Way a quick read.
- Check if your question is covered somewhere in our wiki.
- Don't ask if you can ask your question, simply ask it. It's perfectly OK to join the channel and start with your question.
- Be patient for a response. People come and go from their computers, others often have their IRC clients minimized/out of focus and simply idle in the channel.
- If you've been waiting a while, it may be possible that any users currently active in the channel may not know the answer to your question.
- Please disable any auto-away messages or any IRC client scripts that increase noise in the channel.
- Please don't send unsolicited private messages (this includes notices) to other users in the channel.
- If you're looking to share code examples related to your question, please make use of a Gist or pastebin.
