2.2.1 configuration problem #494

I've tried packaging 2.2.1 for pkgsrc and installed dependencies until it didn't completely stop because of missing dependencies. But then I got the following problem:

libswiften is a core dependency and you need it to package as well. libcommuni is irc plugin dependency, you need to package it or disable irc plugin from build configuration. libpopt is commonly used library and it should be packaged already |

Thanks for the reply. Is libswiften the one from https://github.com/swift/swift ? We had that in pkgsrc, but it stopped compiling on all platforms that we're tracking (see https://releng.netbsd.org/bulktracker/chat/swift ) so we removed it two months ago. I'll take a look at packaging libcommuni (though its upstream hasn't committed anything in the last 3 years either). We do have a popt package. |

spectrum2 is not under active development too. And the problem is we need not only replace inactive libraries but also migrate from XMPP as well |
