PR #101 introduced some sync errors where after multiple changes to a note took place syncing would stop.

This reverts those changes for now but will come back and look for a better fix in the future.
Those changes went into version 1.1.1 which I don't believe was ever used but then also ended up in 1.1.2 which is where the issues were detected.
