Unveiling the Essence of Poetry: Introducing a Comprehensive Dataset and Benchmark for Poem Summarization

We are introducing a new task in NLP named Poem Summarization along with a novel dataset. We also benchmark the creative language understanding and summarizing creative capacity of language models and highlight numerous short-comings of prevalent text summarization models.
