After some investigation, this turned out to be fixed by updating the AFNetworking pod and setting the Content-Type to application/x-www-form-urlencoded instead of application/json. I'm not sure if this was caused by AFNetworking or by a change from the government's API ¯_(ツ)_/¯..works either way.

Changing the Content-Type header

Updating to `application/x-www-form-urlencoded` as it fixed the issue
with connecting to the API as mentioned in #35
