My name is Tanjona. I am currently a Research Associate at NIKHEF and VU Amsterdam, Netherlands. I was previously a PhD at UniversitΓ degli Studi di Milano (Milan, Italy) working with the N3PDF group. My main research interests lay at the intersection of Machine Learning and the theory of strong interactions (QCD). Have a look here for a very short resume.
If I am not doing physics or coding, I am a bookworm (I like very much reading). I am also passionate about GNU/linux in gerenal, you can check my RICE here where I include all my dotfiles. I also enjoy watching movies, wandering in parks, and running at times to maintain a work-life balance.
π The image on the right combines the simulation of particle collisions (in particle colliders) with the Starry Night of Van Gogh using a technique known as Image Style Transfer. It was generated using the timst package.
