Let me check the failing actions. We have

  • incompatibility with numpy>=2
  • ubuntu-latest doesn't have the transitional versions of libfftw3
  • windows-latest has problems with previous numpy minimum version of 1.9.0 through 1.26.4; trying to upgrade to numpy 2
