thanks. let's ignore the CI failures due to pytest for now. I'm hoping that they'll revert that. it's really annoying |

Update the documentation to mention the JOSS citation. This was done previously for the GitHub Readme, but I missed updating it in the docs.
There is also a typo fix to the README.txt in the benchmarks folder.
