I have never actually tried it with a clean install, but not sure that would really make any difference as there aren't any file locations hard coded into the theme (except perhaps files that are theme specific). I'll see if I can reproduce the issue on a VM. |
Thank you. Some progress, found my images are different in filename. if i use the default theme the pictures are working and linking to filename: if I use bootstrap theme the filename of the picture it is looking for: Which is an image that doesnt exist.. |
That's fine and shouldn't cause any issues. The theme uses custom thumbnail The last 2 letters are key here, th = thumbnail, cu = custom followed by

Hi Phil,
Theme looks great but I have trouble getting it to work. New to piwigo, maybe this is the main reason I can not get it to work.
thumb/images are loaded with this url (checked network in inspect element):
/i?/upload/2016/04/17/20160417122249-fec5701c-cu_e260x180.jpg&ajaxload=true
but i get server errors all over the place. In the demo i see this path:
/_data/i/upload/2015/08/22/20150822145205-cd015b21-cu_e260x180.jpg
The '_data' makes all the difference i guess. Can you please tell me why my urls are without the _data?
I did a clean install of piwigo 2.8, downloaded the theme and activated. No strange plugins or other modifications.
Thanks!
