Hi,

How can i save the ppt in 2003 format.

I have set setOffice2003Compatibility to true (with $objWriter->setOffice2003Compatibility(true);) , still its not working for 2003. I m not able to open ppt.

Is there a workaround.

Thanks

Have you installed the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack for Office 2003 ?
Link : http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/support/microsoft-office-compatibility-pack-for-word-excel-and-powerpoint-HA010168676.aspx

This will permit to Powerpoint 2003 to open Powerpoint 2007 files (PPTX).

PHPPowerpoint doesn't support Powerpoint binary file format (PPT). A pull request is accepted for that.

Thank you very much for this link.

Unfortunately this is not an option for me because the user work in an administrative environment and have no administrative rights to run application /executable files.

@muhkuh In this case, either you generate an HTML file, or rendering in ODP format, either you help with a pull request on the PPT binary file format (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc313106%28v=office.12%29)....
