Name table is already tight. Put it in its own table. And remove the platform encoding BS. Reference languages in ltag or whatever 🍎 table it is. I'm not convinced about the whole concept though, but then I haven't read the proposal try. :) |

Yeah, no. This is importing way too much data into the engines with little agreed benefits. Worrying that up to input methods is impractically hard. |

I’d like to propose a new SFNT table
LABL, which will map glyph IDs tonametable records which contain human-readable labels for the glyphs.
