Version 1.0.0

This release version of the Northern Widget libraries precedes a planned project to further standardize our internal libraries in a way that is likely to break backwards compatibility. Therefore, I (@awickert) am releasing the current library compilation under Version 1.0.0 such that we can easily step back to this as needed.
