  • Tested compilation of all pkgs that depend on this change using nix-shell -p nix-review --run "nix-review wip"

  • Determined the impact on package closure size (by running nix path-info -S before and after)
  • Ensured that relevant documentation is up to date
  • Fits CONTRIBUTING.md.

Please do not edit hackage-packages.nix. Note the comment at the top of the file. This file is generated automatically and manual changes to it at are invariably lost in the next update. The update you want will be merged as part of #75857.
