Have you actually tested this patch in any way? I don't think it can possibly work unless you change the checksum of the source tarball, too.

Thanks for the update.

Sorry, I forgot to update the checksum; had a slow internet connection
and it was downloading the texlive-suite; thought I could let travis
test the build.

Next time I test locally again; thanks again.
