Hi @MisileLab , I have to apologize! I've spent the last week preparing the same update (well, for 1.30.1), and I haven't looked for a similar pull request until half an hour ago.

It turned out updating v4l-utils is not that easy: They moved to Meson and incorporated edid-decode which causes a lot of changes with this update.

I have now taken the liberty to submit my updates as own pull request: #419046 Please tell me if you oppose this move; since you submitted your update earlier, I would grant your pull-request priority in that case. Otherwise, I'd be grateful if you could take a look and possibly submit a review.
