@ryantm I just got word from the maintainer (JohnCremona/eclib#64 (comment)) that version bumps in eclib do not necessarily mean new releases (the project exclusively uses GitHub releases for that, tags and version bumps are to be ignored). If it's super simple to make nixpkgs-update use GH releases for deciding when to update this package, I'd appreciate the change. Don't worry about it if it takes more than 30 seconds :)
