Closes backlog item "Add intent-matching SEO/GEO landing pages with machine-readable proof" [research 2026-08-08, rank: 2, risk: green].

What

Publishes three narrowly scoped, Worker-served landing pages matching the discovery-run intent (small-business SEO audits, rendered-vs-static proof, AI-search readiness):

Page Intent Title
/small-business-seo-audit "AI SEO audit tool for small business" Small Business SEO Audit - SEO Fix Kit
/rendered-vs-static-seo-audit static-crawler false positives on JS sites Rendered vs Static SEO Audit - SEO Fix Kit
/ai-answer-readiness site-proof AI Answer Readiness AI Answer Readiness Check - SEO Fix Kit

This branch is cut fresh from current origin/main (af91d79) and supersedes the stale open PR #78 (seo-fix-kit/lane1-intent-landing-pages, based on 120c699) — the same feature ported forward and conflict-resolved against the eight newer main commits (#85, #83, #90, #82, #92).

Acceptance mapping (backlog item)

  • Publish narrowly scoped pages for small-business SEO audits, rendered-vs-static audits, and proof-derived AI Answer Readiness — done, three pages.
  • Unique title/meta — each page has its own title, description, canonical, OG/twitter head (tested unique).
  • FAQ and SoftwareApplication/Service structured data where truthful — every page renders a visible FAQ section from the same data array that emits FAQPage JSON-LD (schema cannot drift from copy), plus a truthful SoftwareApplication block. Test asserts every FAQ question/answer is visible on the page and parses as valid JSON-LD (WebPage + SoftwareApplication + FAQPage, 4 questions each).
  • Internal links to the demo — every page links /demo and /check (nav + CTA).
  • llms.txt/sitemap entry — all three paths added to llmsText, rootSitemap, public/sitemap.xml, .well-known/skill.md, and README ("What is live" and Cloudflare-path sections).
  • No page claims live citation monitoring — AI page states no answer-engine sampling, no citation monitoring, no visibility-score tracking, llms.txt optional; promise-audit pins this boundary to code.

Verification

  • npm run check — exit 0; all 27 suites pass (incl. test:public-pages, test:promise-audit, test:live-promise-spot-check now covering ten public pages) and production vite build succeeds.
  • Local HTTP verification against the Express mirror of the Worker routes: all three pages HTTP 200; unique titles; correct canonicals; JSON-LD parses as WebPage + SoftwareApplication + FAQPage (4 visible questions each); /demo and /check links present; sitemap lists 11 URLs incl. the three new paths; llms.txt names all three with the truthful boundary; robots.txt allows all and points at the sitemap.
  • Live promise spot-check extended from 7 to 10 public pages (runs after deploy); offline spot-check fixtures pass.
  • Rollback: remove only the new pages and sitemap entries per backlog rollback clause.

Notes

  • Pages are Worker-rendered (not SPA routes) and added to run_worker_first; local Express server mirrors them for dev parity.
  • No deploy from this PR — fleet release deploys after merge; npm run audit:live-promise then covers the new pages.
  • CI note: the required check job may not start because of the account-level billing outage that blocked every open lane's check on 2026-08-09/10; the canonical gate was run locally on this exact HEAD against the workflow's command (npm run check, exit 0).

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Tests

    • Added regression coverage for intent-focused landing pages, including routing, discoverability, sitemap inclusion, structured data, asset handling, and citation-monitoring disclosures.
    • Expanded validation to ensure all supported intent landing-page paths remain available and correctly represented across the product.
  • Maintenance

    • Improved safeguards against regressions affecting landing-page accessibility and search visibility.

… proof

Publish three Worker-served landing pages matching active discovery intent:
- /small-business-seo-audit (AI SEO audit tool for small business)
- /rendered-vs-static-seo-audit (static-crawler false-positive proof loop)
- /ai-answer-readiness (site-proof AI Answer Readiness, no citation claims)

Each page carries unique title/meta, canonical, visible FAQ rendered from the
same data as FAQPage JSON-LD, truthful SoftwareApplication schema, internal
links to /demo and /check, and sitemap, llms.txt, skill.md, and README
entries. Routes are Worker-first via wrangler run_worker_first and mirrored
in the local Express server. Offline pages tests, live-promise spot-check
(now ten public pages), and promise-audit pins lock the pages and their
AI-boundary copy to code; npm run check passes.

… pages (PR #94)

The intent-matching landing pages feature is already landed in main. This
merge takes main's newer additions (proof receipt, demo proof, narrow-viewport
fixes, social image, run_worker_first:true) and keeps the PR's promise-audit
test, updated to assert run_worker_first:true instead of the old route list.

Duplicate/superseded — closing in favour of #112. #112 carries the real intent-landing-page implementation (12 files); this branch only touches a test file plus a stray node_modules entry. (nothing-sits sweep 2026-08-19)
