Summary

Item 38147c59f9 — "Canonicalize www.seofixkit.com onto the apex host with 301 redirects and apex-only canonicals/sitemap" — is already implemented, tested, and live on origin/main. No code change was needed.

Verification

Offline (this worktree, fresh origin/main at 7783adc):

  • npm run test:worker-dispatch — 14/14 pass (www→apex 301 for root, deep path + query, /api/health, /sitemap.xml, asset layer, SPA fallback; apex-only canonicals/robots/sitemap/llms.txt)
  • npm run test:public-pages — 15/15 pass (incl. run_worker_first asset-routing lock)
  • npm run test:promise-audit — 71/71 pass (README claims about the canonical host)
  • Repo-wide grep: remaining www.seofixkit.com refs are the redirect logic, regression locks, wrangler routes config, deliberate app-host allowlists, and historical docs — no serving leak.

Live (HTTPS, manual Location header):

  • www.seofixkit.com/, /check, /sitemap.xml, /llms.txt, /favicon.svg, /.well-known/security.txt, and unknown SPA paths all 301 to the apex with path/query intact.
  • seofixkit.com/sitemap.xml — every <loc> apex-only; robots.txt → apex sitemap; page canonicals apex-only.

Out-of-scope flag (not fixed here)

The live promise walk also reports /proof and /proof.md returning 404 in production (plus llms.txt/sitemap entries referencing the receipt). That is the proof-receipt surface (separate lane item, PR #138) whose offline regression locks pass — indicating the deployed Worker copy is behind/drifted from origin/main on the proof route. Flagging for the proof-receipt lane/controller as a deploy-copy regression; no files were modified for it.

Greptile Summary

Adds a verification report confirming that www-to-apex canonicalization remains implemented, tested, and live, while identifying an unrelated deployment drift affecting proof routes.

  • Records supporting implementation, configuration, and regression-test coverage.
  • Documents live redirect and apex-only metadata checks.
  • Recommends closing the completed canonicalization item and separately routing the proof deployment issue.

Confidence Score: 5/5

The documentation-only PR appears safe to merge with no actionable defects identified.

The report accurately describes the existing canonicalization implementation and tests, and it clearly separates the observed proof-route deployment drift from the verified canonical-host work.

Item 38147c59f9 (canonicalize www.seofixkit.com onto the apex host with
301 redirects and apex-only canonicals/sitemap) is already implemented,
tested, and live on origin/main. PR #70 (commit c05fae5, 2026-08-09)
shipped the 301 + apex-only canonicals/robots/sitemap/llms.txt; #107
added run_worker_first so www static assets 301 too; #89 hardened the
live spot-check.

Re-verified today against origin/main at 7783adc: test:worker-dispatch
14/14, test:public-pages 15/15, test:promise-audit 71/71; live www root,
deep path with query, sitemap.xml, llms.txt, favicon.svg, well-known and
SPA-fallback paths all 301 to the apex with path/query intact; apex
sitemap/robots/canonicals are apex-only. No code change needed; report
only.
