A successful teams read with a non-array collection now returns the existing database refusal contract instead of passing an invalid collection to callers. The three-line guard follows the SDK error branch and preserves null/undefined/204 as empty collections, opaque array entries, family/member/active filters and all other Sports behavior, including #852’s timezone fix. This draft is stacked on #852.
Validation: the unchanged original19 actual SDK synthetic cases pass on the candidate and ordinary root test configuration without private observer settings. The same parent suite reproduces eight malformed collection failures and 11 passing controls; these are variants of one collection gap. All38 paired query/header/native SDK/declared adapter/result vectors and the full original19 block are preserved. Full8GB nonincremental types and scoped two-file lint pass.
The finite .invalid GET transport bypasses SDK Auth. School/resolver and recurrence dependencies are hardthrow mocks; the selected852 parent’s unused recurrence differs from the original source64 snapshot and is separately pinned. No actual Auth/context/cache/PG/RLS/backend/provider or full tool/UI workflow was exercised. The two post-await adapters are explicitly distinguished from native SDK replies. This change adds no row shape or cardinality policy.
