Summary

  • record the final merged dispositions for upstream tokscale PRs #914, #916, and #917
  • map each merged change to the corresponding TokenBar vendor behavior without claiming byte identity across different cache and test architectures
  • close the Windows downstream recovery bookkeeping with no additional code or cache-schema port

Disposition

Upstream PR Main commit TokenBar mapping
#914 163ec570 The Windows atomic-write handle ordering is adapted to upstream's shard writer; TokenBar retains its monolithic cache structure.
#916 a2f7cef5 Explicit-home config, Zed, and warning semantics match, including supplied AppData/Roaming and AppData/Local paths.
#917 a0929482 Upstream's current test layout now covers the same inherited-root fixture-isolation failure class; TokenBar retains its additional local guards and fixtures.

The remaining structural differences are local streaming, cache, and test adaptations rather than missing upstream-applicable behavior. CACHE_SCHEMA_VERSION remains 29.

Verification

  • verified all three PRs are merged and recorded their actual upstream main commits
  • compared the merged diff scopes with the current TokenBar vendor behavior
  • python3 scripts/check_knowledge.py --self-test
  • python3 -m py_compile scripts/check_knowledge.py
  • python3 scripts/check_knowledge.py
  • make check-docs
  • git diff --check

This is documentation-only. It does not claim a new runtime test result and includes no production, parser, cache, FFI, C ABI, Swift, tag, or release change.

The recovered Windows vendor sequence split its upstream-applicable work into cache runtime, explicit-home scanning, and core fixture isolation. All three contributions now have merged dispositions on upstream main.

Record the actual merge commits and the semantic mapping for PRs #914, #916, and #917. Clarify that remaining cache and test structure is TokenBar-specific adaptation rather than an unported upstream behavior.

No production code, cache layout, parser output, FFI, or schema change.
