It resolves transfer settings for both roles, checks agreement across ranks and peers, and records model-directory and synthetic-KV-shape status in runner output. ChangesCache transceiver precheck

Three things to settle before merge.
CI is red at this revision. The description says the x86 single-GPU stage of L0_MergeRequest_PR #62689 failed with triage pending. That stage is where l0_a10.yml runs test_cache_transceiver_precheck_config.py and test_cache_transceiver_precheck_run.py. Please post whether the failure is in those files or an unrelated flake, and rerun once triaged.
Scope of the metadata.architectures hint. A scan of tests/scripts/perf-sanity/disaggregated/ shows 87 disagg yamls that leave use_kv_cache_manager_v2 unset with a transceiver backend configured, so all of them take the same "auto needs a registered model class" path. Only the two DSpark files get the hint. The sibling gb300_deepseek-v4-pro-fp4_* and vr200_deepseek-v4-pro-fp4_* configs resolve to the same DeepseekV4ForCausalLM and will hit the identical INIT_ERROR under the same checkpoint-visibility condition. Either add the hint to every DSV4 disagg yaml in this PR, derive it from metadata.model_name, or say in the description why these two are the only ones that need it.
A PASS without a checkpoint is now indistinguishable in the status doc. Before this change a missing checkpoint failed the precheck (confusingly, but visibly). Now it passes with a synthetic pool and the only signal is a stdout line from the leader. The real test then fails later at model load with no precheck-level hint. The status doc already records transceiver_runtime; please add a field like model_dir_resolved: false / synthetic_kv_shape: true so the gate and the perf report can tell a transport-only PASS from a checkpoint-backed one. Inline comment at the print site.
Minor: declared_architectures validates and documents a priority-ordered list but only [0] is consulted (inline).

Approving — the comments below are optional touch-ups, not blockers.
I checked each point from the last round against the current code:
- Architecture hint scope: fixed.
declared_architecture()now accepts one nonempty string and rejects any list, including one with a valid later entry.resolve_model_prefsconsults the hint only whenmodel_dir is None, so a resolved checkpoint still takes precedence. All 13 top-level DeepSeek V4 disagg YAMLs acrossperf/andperf-sanity/declare it, andtest_deepseek_v4_declared_architecture_without_checkpointglobs them, so a future V4 YAML without the hint fails a unit test. Thedeepseek-v4-pro-eplb/subdirectories hold MoE load-balancer configs, not workloads, so they correctly don't need it. - Redundant BF16 assignment: fixed.
- No-checkpoint run recorded only on stdout: fixed.
model_dir_resolved/synthetic_kv_shapego throughStatusRecordermetadata on every flush, including intermediate and failure writes, and the e2e tests assert them. - CI: still open at this revision. The description says release-based CI on the rebased head is pending. Please post the L0 result, in particular the stage that runs
test_cache_transceiver_precheck_{config,run}.py(l0_a10.yml), before merge.
Non-blocking:
- The fix makes the precheck pass without weights, so a green precheck no longer means the checkpoint is staged. The README and status fields say this. The NVBug should stay open until the original GB300 jobs pass with the checkpoint present, as the description already plans.
_resolve_transfer_configbuilds aTorchLlmArgsand runs the model hooks twice per rank (once per role). That's fine for a precheck. If startup time ever matters at 40 ranks, it could be cached.

….3: Resolve and validate disaggregated precheck cache contracts Forward-port of release/1.3 PR NVIDIA#19782 (release/1.3 commit 83d385b) to main. Adapted to main's use_kv_cache_manager_v2=True precheck default (NVIDIA#17495): the fingerprint test probes False, which differs from main's default. Summary
Targets
release/1.3for TRT-LLM 1.3.Fix the
CONFIG_INVALIDcache-transceiver precheck failure in NVBUG 6759214: when the DeepSeek V4 checkpoint is unavailable locally, automatic KV-cache-manager selection cannot resolve the model's preferences.metadata.architecturethrough the serving resolvers, preserving checkpoint precedence and rejecting unresolved identities. Declare it in all 13 DeepSeek V4 disaggregated workload configurations across perf and perf-sanity, including DSpark, GB300 FP4, and VR200 FP4.model_dir_resolvedandsynthetic_kv_shapein every runner status JSON, including intermediate and failure results. Use the same synthetic-shape predicate for status and the leader notice, including generic fallback shapes.Supersedes #19180 by adding configuration validation, distributed consistency checks, and unit/native/real-transfer regression coverage.
Verification
Current head:
c660b5f0efa2a20acf64b7ade4b2ee8e321f23a2, based onrelease/1.3ataf8c4a202c.031447e6cf37f64c2a27e2291cee8dcbf1c6dc18: all 199 precheck tests passed, zero failed or skipped. This includes 79 config tests onA10-PyTorch-2, 113 driver tests onA10-PyTorch-1(40 native API cases and all 13 configurations × both roles), and seven MPI/NIXL transfer tests onDGX_H100-PyTorch-5.c660b5f0, with/bot run --disable-fail-fast. DCO, pre-commit, and the vulnerability scan passed; native/GPU results are pending.Remaining validation
The original 24/40-GPU GB300 workloads remain unverified; the VR200 configurations were checked through resolver tests, not workload replay. A synthetic transport PASS does not establish model-weight readiness or exact model KV-layout correctness. Keep the NVBUG open until the exact NVFP4 checkpoint is available on every worker and the original configurations complete successfully.
