Most of the changes are "bug fixes" needed to run the new radar-reflectivity data assimilation correctly and efficiently and to make it compatible with the cloud analysis.

The change to grid_ratio_ens=1 for conventional DA when the regional ensemble is available was agreed upon in a meeting between GSL and EMC and has been tested successfully in retro cases, and in real time on Jet yesterday and today. All other changes have been tested successfully in retros cases + real-time runs starting on Friday, July 8.

Otherwise, changes to exregional_archive.ksh and exregional_save_restart.sh are minor and look good.

I recall that some changes were needed for the dependencies of the HYBRID_RADAR_REF and CLDANAL_NONVAR tasks in the FV3LAM_wflow.xml for the deterministic system (RRFS_B). Will these changes be included in the current PR, or a different one?

Thanks much for the comments @daviddowellNOAA
Is there a reference FV3LAM_wflow.xml to compare against the latest one in the real-time RRFS_B deterministic run? The changes might have been made locally in the run directory and if that is the case I need to find out what the changes are.

I think I have found out the dependencies changes of the HYBRID_RADAR_REF and CLDANAL_NONVAR tasks in the FV3LAM_wflow.xml for the deterministic system (RRFS_B) and have committed the changes. Please take a look to see if they are what we need. @daviddowellNOAA

Thanks, Chunhua! The most recent changes are exactly the ones that were needed.
