How do we know the Personas were implemented successfully? It is important that we define upfront what a successful Personas project looks like so we avoid being biased (the tendency is, after all the hard work, to put more weight on positive results once the project is over). Also, this list allows us to align expectations across the team.

@xmatthewx and I put this list together. Feel free to add items or comment on the existing ones.

  • We have a knowable system of Personas
  • We can look at a real individual who clearly fits our strategic initiatives … and easily place them in a group or two
  • We reach a Version-1-feels-done state
  • Program staff approve of the personas
  • People refer to their audience as the Personas’ names
  • New features/requests are made through a user-centric perspective (through Personas)

@hannahkane @jessevondoom let us know what you think of these items

@xmatthewx I removed the "review" part of "Program staff review and approve of the personas" because I think the "review" part should be included as part of the process (I added it as the item 9 in the epic #566).
