Mouse Configuration

This page will describe the configurable options for how the Switch buttons map can be mapped to mouse inputs when in 'Mouse mode'. Note that 'Mouse mode' basically means that the Switch buttons map to PC mouse and keyboard inputs. When 'Mouse mode' is off, the Switch buttons map to the virtual gamepad running on the PC.

Mouse Buttons

The left, right, and middle mouse buttons can be configured to a limited set of buttons on the Switch controller.

  • Pressing 'A' or 'B' will cycle through the available options
  • A controller button can only be bound to one mouse button. So if 'R' is bound to left click, you cannot bind right click to 'R' as well.

If you plan to use individual JoyCon controllers paired separately, keep the mouse button bindings and the limited available buttons on the JoyCon in mind.

Mouse Sensitivity

This controls how sensitive the mouse movements are from the analog stick.

  • The movement analog stick will be the opposite one from the Mouse Wheel Analog setting

Mouse on Connect

This controls the default input behaviour when the stream first connects. If enabled, the stream starts in 'Mouse/Keyboard' input mode. If disabled, the stream starts in 'virtual gamepad' mode.

  • The mode can still be toggled using the Mouse Mode Toggle Key buttons

Mouse Wheel Analog

This controls the analog in charge of acting as the 'scroll wheel' for the mouse.

  • Both vertical and horizontal scrolling are supported
  • The dominant axis is the only one accepted and interpreted as scrolling input
    • If you moved the analog stick more left than up, then the mouse will register a horizontal scroll only
    • If you moved the analog stick more up than left, then the mouse will register a vertical scroll only
  • The mouse movement will be mapped to the other analog stick, opposite of this setting
    • If you scroll with the right analog stick, then the left analog stick controls the mouse movement
    • Keep this in mind when using separate JoyCon controllers

Mouse Mode Toggle Key

This controls the button or button combo in charge of toggling the program into behaving as a 'mouse and keyboard' or to behave as an 'virtual gamepad'. A sound is made when the toggle is performed by the program on your PC.

  • Pressing 'A' will start the button binding screen
    • Follow the instructions on screen to create a binding
    • You cannot cancel the binding screen
  • To reset the button to the program default, press 'B'

NOTE: If you are going to use JoyCon controllers paired separately with the Switch, keep in mind the limited buttons available to the JoyCon when creating a binding.

Mouse Mode Toggle Time

This controls how long the Mouse Mode Toggle Key needs to be held down to cause a toggle. The value displayed is in seconds.

  • Pressing 'A' will bring up the Switch's software keyboard
    • If you put in an incorrect value, the keyboard prompt will appear again
  • To reset the time to the program default, press 'B'
