Microchip has developed a hardware prototyping platform that helps the user to interact with the Trust Platform Design Suite and implement the use case prototyping.
The Crypto Auth Trust Platform consists of ATSAMD21 that is the main MCU that comes pre-programmed with Microchip`s Secure Product Group (SPG) kit protocol. The kit also consists of a debugger that helps to flash the code on to the microcontroller using either MPLABX or Atmel Studio. It also possesses a mikroBUS header that allows the plugging in of MikroElectronika sensor boards.
The trust platform consists of 3 secure elements: Trust&GO (ATECC608A-TNGTLS), TrustFLEX (ATECC608A-TFLXTLS) and TrustCUSTOM (ATECC608A-TCSM). Each of the secure element has a different I2C address that enables its communication with the host MCU hence eliminating the line contention issue.
For more information refer to the product page.
The ATECC608A trust is an add-on board for the CryptoAuth Trust Platform and other Microchip development platforms that contains a MikroElektronika mikroBUS header which can connect to any board that has a mikroBUS connection. This board provides an alternative to the sample units that require a socket board for doing the initial development and testing.
The ATECC608A Trust contains the ATECC608A secure elements – Trust&GO (ATECC608A-TNGTLS), TrustFLEX (ATECC608A-TFLXTLS) and TrustCUSTOM (ATECC608A-TCSM). This provides the user the ability to develop solutions with any of these secure elements based on the requirements of the application. For more information refer to the product page.
